Terms & Conditions of Rental

Conditions Upon Which Persons Are Licensed To Occupy Premises

We have laid out, as clearly as possible, the conditions on which your booking is made so that you understand the basis of the contract between you and villa Marissa Calle Petunia La Alfoquia when you book your accommodation. Nothing in these conditions affects your normal statutory rights.

Animals

We regret that no animals are allowed in the premises. This safeguards the furnishings and ensures that any future occupants who may be allergic to animals are not affected.

Smoking

This is a non-smoking premise for our visitors’ health and well-being.

Times Of Arrival

Not before 2 pm on the date of arrival unless by special arrangement.

Time Of Departure

To allow the cleaner sufficient time to prepare the premises for incoming visitors, we ask that your apartment is vacated by 10 a.m. on the day of departure. (Unless otherwise agreed)

Keys & Access Codes

Before the date of arrival, please ensure that you have been given instructions and relevant information for collecting the key to the apartment.

Cleaning

Please leave the premises clean and tidy. This villa does not offer maid service during your stay. All dishes should be washed and replaced in the cupboards, and refuse removed. Cleaning service at the end of your stay is payable at 50.00 euros. Payment must be agreed upon before the stay and arranged with local cleaning services.

Linen

Linen and bedding are provided; however, the guest must launder them before leaving (unless otherwise agreed upon).

Occupants Property

The owners accept no responsibility or risk for loss of or damage to any property (including vehicles or their contents) of an Occupier or any member of the Occupier’s party or of any person or persons visiting the premises with the consent of any Occupier or any member of the Occupier’s party.

Booking & Deposits

Please note that bookings will be confirmed by email. Unless otherwise agreed upon, all bookings are subject to a £100.00 deposit. All payments must be made in full 8 weeks before arrival.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation, the deposit payment is non-refundable.  Depending on the time of cancellation, the balance may be refundable either in full or in part, as set out below:

  • Cancellation 14 weeks before arrival – 75 % of the balance
  • Cancellation 7-13 weeks before arrival – 50% of the balance
  • Cancellation 4-6 weeks before arrival – 10% of the balance
  • Cancellation 2-4 weeks or less before arrival – no refund

In the unlikely event we need to cancel, we will offer a full refund or alternative travel dates. Please note that this does not cover any weather-related incidents or `Acts of God` and should be covered by your travel insurance.

Breakages

The Occupant is responsible for the actual costs of any breakages, loss, or damage in or to the accommodation – along with any additional costs that may result which are caused by him or his party, and the Company can require payment from you to cover any such fees. All breakages or damage must be reported immediately.

Pool Area

There are no glasses around the pool. Please note that any broken glass in or around the pool may require full draining. The occupants will incur and recover all costs.
